What is Tiplr?
Tiplr is a startup born within Creativa.
We decided to combine our experience as seasoned travelers with multiplatform design to create what is now the ultimate global travel platform for a community of smart travelers who can easily create, share and collect authentic travel tips with each other.
Tiplr is our flagship project: we developed the concept, designed the entire brand identity, including the icon illustrations, and we entirely produced both the iOS and Android app and the website, and we manage its social communication.
Tiplr logo represents the perfect meeting point between a hot air balloon and a map pointer. Our aim was to iconize the international and omnipresent travel experience. The colors have been carefully chosen to match the spirit of our target group: bold and exuberant travelers around the world.
In contrast to the colorful logo, the platform interface is simple and clear so that the user can focus on the images, which are the heart of Tiplr’s identity.
We focused on curating high-quality images that could appeal to the audience. We also implemented ample white space to ensure readability.
Tiplr’s design allows for easy navigation with primary functions easily accessible to users.
The Tiplr Locals project
Tiplr’s strength lies in human contact and over the years of managing the communities of Tiplr’s Facebook pages dedicated to Florence, New York, Paris, Naples, São Paulo and London, we have captured the desire of users to have an additional service: to be able to contact experienced guides in advance to be able to plan their trip and leave without stress.
This is how the Tiplr Locals project was born: a section of the Tiplr website where a group of certified guides is available for both itinerary planning consultations and guided city tours.
One of the new features we’ve implemented is the Travel Consultation: a video call where users can speak with an expert guide to better organize themselves and clarify any doubts before departure.
The project starts in Florence and will expand to new destinations very soon!

Here’s where the magic happened: the planning meeting for Tiplr Locals between our team and the group of guides selected for the project at our headquarters in Palazzo Corsini-Serristori in Florence.
